Children and Youth Ministries

In 2017, the visionary trio of Pastor David Lee Sincere Jr., English educator Leslie Tucker Young, and PE Coach Patrina Davis laid the foundation for the Advocacy Now Gents Mentoring Program at Briargate Elementary. Starting with a modest group of 23 boys, the program's reach expanded to over 120 students across five schools by 2020. Catering to students from grades 3 to 12, the program offers insights into business, entrepreneurship, cultural understanding, financial literacy, and the exciting world of STEM and robotics. Beyond classroom learning, students are treated to four enriching field trips annually and the wisdom of guest speakers from various fields.

The FBISD administration, recognizing the program's transformative potential, integrated it into the Campus Improvement Plan for every participating school in 2019. The core objective? To sculpt students into compassionate leaders.

Pastor Sincere's unwavering commitment didn't go unnoticed. In 2018, The Texas State Board of Education honored him with the Heroes for Children Award, a tribute to those who've made lasting impacts in public education. Through practical lessons, students learn the art of respectful interactions, setting them up for success in all social and professional encounters.
